Vintage White Chandelier

Not long ago I was watching HGTV and one of the designers said that she likes to paint vintage chandeliers in a nice flat white. As soon as I found this beauty at an estate sale, I knew that it would soon get a coat of flat white paint.

Here it is now...

*rewired

*spray painted flat white
*new candle covers from Lowe's (also painted flat white)

*vintage crystals

Just need to find more vintage crystals...eBay maybe?

  9. I really like it! I've been wanting a chandy in my bedroom, but haven't gotten around to buying one. I think yours would look really nice with some white shades on it for a different look sometime, but it's very nice like this too. Have a great weekend!

  12. This is fab! I did this for a nearly identical chandy in my dining room! Hope you'll pop over and check it out. I also picked up another, but once I realized it was 24 karat gold plated, I decided to keep it gold! (for $10 bucks, too!--oh with hand cut-crystals!)

    Now Following!

Brass lights are so 80'ish!! You made this light timeless. I adore your blog.

  15. I am always amazed at the quality of the photographs that you post on your blog. You must have a very expensive, high end camera. Or may I ask do you have a professional photographer that takes your blog pictures?
