  1. Just started cutting molding myself and it does make a huge difference. I have to get a miter saw though because I was using the cheap yellow miter box and that is just awful! I made a wall mantel shelf that I done my first cuts on which is posted on my blog. Great tutorial.

  17. Girl, you have just been bookmarked. This is great! Never do I feel more inadequate than when I'm trying to get the spatial relations of my mouldings straight in my head. I can only imagine what the look on my face must be, standing there in front of the miter saw. Befuddled no more!

    Thanks again! Awesome stuff!

  21. Just found this from Somedaycrafts......perfect timing!! Got a compound miter saw for Christmas and hubby just last night finally got it ouf the box and got it bolted down to a work table. I'm too chicken to use it yet. But, am hosting a crafternoon for some crafty friends tomorrow and need to make some straight cuts on some 2x2s. But not until AFTER I read, read, and re-read your tutorials! Thank you!!!

I'm going to be installing baseboard pretty soon here and although I've become pretty good friends with out Miter saw from other doing other projects I still have never done any actual miter cuts! So this is a great post to refer to. Also I'm going to throw some molding on our 60's cabinetry to hold us over till we do our remodel. Thanks for sharing! =)
