I am thrilled to share this beautiful hutch transformation with you all today!
What makes this so exciting for me? The plate rack in this darling hutch was built using my DIY Plate Rack Tutorial. I received a sweet comment from Kathy about my plate rack tutorial, she was going to build one too. I was so excited! I replied and told her that I would love to see picutres of her plate rack when she finished. She so kindly sent me these pictures and said that I could share them with you all as well.

ReplyDeleteEmily,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring my hutch in your post today! As you can see I still have to finish the drawers on the hutch, but I was so excited to show it off I had to rush the pictures to you. I'll send you the really finished project when I get it completed.
And thank you readers for your wonderful comments. I am really proud of this project and could not have done it without Emily's great instructions.
Blessings, Kathy

Waaaayyyyy better. Way.
ReplyDeletePaint is a girl's best friend!
xo Jeanne.
It looks amazing! I am curious however about the paint that was used. My mother inherited nearly the same exact hutch (only slightly smaller) and we are wanting to paint it but unsure how to go about it. See we love the piece since it was my grandmothers but it really doesn't fit in with our shabby decor, with such dark wood. Any advice Kathy (or anyone) could give I'd be grateful.
ReplyDeleteAgain great job, I love the plate rack.
